NDIS, Medicare, DVA & Workers Compensation Exercise Physiology Services

At SEPSA, we provide accredited Exercise Physiology services for clients accessing support through NDIS, Medicare, Workers Compensation and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). Our focus is on safe, structured exercise that improves function, confidence, and longterm physical capacity.

We work closely with clients, referrers, and support teams to ensure exercise programs are appropriate, evidence-based, and aligned with individual goals and funding requirements.

Medicare Exercise Physiology

SEPSA provides Exercise Physiology services under Medicare for eligible clients requiring exercise rehabilitation or support for chronic health conditions.

To access Medicare-funded Exercise Physiology, you will need:

  • A valid GP referral (e.g. Chronic Disease Management Plan)

  • Eligibility confirmed by your GP based on your medical history

Once referred, our Exercise Physiologists will complete an initial assessment and deliver individualised exercise tailored to your condition, capacity, and goals.

Your First Session:

Your first session is all about clarity and confidence. We’ll review your medical history, lifestyle, exercise background, and current movement capacity then connect that to what you actually need to reach your goals. From there, we map out a structured plan and coach you through the first steps, so you leave knowing exactly what to do next.

The Pathway Forward:

Most clients follow a simple progression:

  1. Initial Assessment: Understand your health, movement, and goals.

  2. Personalised Plan: Strength + cardio + mobility matched to your needs.

  3. Guided Coaching: An initial block of 1:1 or small group to build confidence and capacity.

  4. Progress Reviews: Re-test, refine, and level up the plan.

  5. Longterm Options: Continue 1:1, move to group, or transition to independent training with reviews.
